What we do.
We are a full-service design build company. That means that you can be involved as little (or as much) as you want in the project. You tell us what you are trying to achieve, and we will make it happen. Maybe you have just a general concept, but no designs or location—no problem. Maybe you have a location, but no firm design—no problem. Maybe you have a location, drawings, and specifications—no problem. No matter where you are on your project, we can help. We can even help you secure financing.
We do everything so that you don’t have to:
- Find a location
- Work with an architect
- Obtain permits and topography assessments
- Actual construction
- Final touches
Why invest time in the beginning?
To save you money!
You may notice that when you work with us, we take the time in the beginning to discuss the project and really learn what you are trying to achieve. We will ask you to think through your budget, to make a list of needs vs. wants, and to talk with your team (if applicable) to ensure that nothing is missed. We also will walk you through project plans and budget sheets, so that you know exactly what to expect.
Taking the time upfront will ensure that many design issues are ironed out BEFORE we begin with an architect or with the build. This will avoid costly revisions to the plans, and potential construction delays. It is so easy to waste money during a construction project by simply not taking the time to think through what you want.
What do you mean by Phase 2?
We always work under the assumption that your project will have a Phase 2. Sometimes, it is based on budgetary restrictions at the time of building. Sometimes, it leaves open the possibility for a change of your needs in the future (due to growth, etc). When we put together our plans, we always leave room for a Phase 2. Whether that’s designing the building in a way that allows for easy expansion, or ensuring that the lot that we choose has ample room for another wing, or a larger parking lot, we always go into the project envisioning that future expansion.
What does that mean for you? It means that any future changes to your location will be cost effective and will not require a complete rebuild. It is important to us to always look ahead.
